Our Work In Action

BMSES as a group was formed with many members sharing a common interest basically on four major facets

Welfare of Members

During the groups third meeting from initiation, the group realized one of its members has psychiatric issues. A delegation of two was assigned to visit southern Senegal to discuss issues relating to his health, medication to ascertain the kind of assistance to be offered to the family. Handsome amount was donated to the family for his medication and a proposal to initiate maintenance of his dwelling.

Medical funds were provided to a young man whose dad is a member of the association. During visits and delivery of funds, the dad member expressed gratitude describing the support as very timely and has significant impact on his already depleted resources

Social Events

The group has been very active involved with social events of its members. Few of our children got married recently and we participate in the colorful ceremony of those marriages. This amount of support provided goes along to motivate members that the association is bestowed on solidarity in times of joy and hardship particularly death.

A token amount was donated to members who lost a direct family member or member/s involved in accident, car, bike, fire eg. an accident victim who was travelling to the meeting of the association.

Beneficiaries have recognized solidarity in the form associations donation and individual donation and individual presences as a yard stick to consoling and intervening in provision of basics funeral rites.

Similarly, the group never lost reference to members of the batch that are no more. The world of class, or of individuals in a family etc. demands of a review and establishment of the present and past membership. During the process the group decided to offer small educational invention for children of deceased mates. This a reflection of the groups desire to contribute of children of our ex-mates at school.
